As an international student applying to the US, Crimson helped me immensely. The most helpful aspect was the essay reviews. My meetings with my essay mentor were not only useful for editing and refining my essays, but his input also inspired me and gave me new ideas. I did not use the financial aid mentoring hours just because the process is a lot more straightforward for international students, but as for filling out the common app, activity list, and essays, Crimson provided excellent support.

I got in touch with Crimson in the beginning of my sophomore year. I have received incredible service from Crimson. By joining the Crimson community, a vast amount of resources were made available to me. My extracurricular mentor was extremely knowledgeable about the field I want to major in and recommended valuable activities that can help build my experience and my resume. I was getting ready to apply to 15 schools, but applied to Dartmouth early and got in thanks to my Crimson team. They encouraged me to build a leadership project in my community, and I started a scholarship program for students in my high school; we raised lots of money for all honor role students and the program will continue forever. The Crimson team made sure I was totally prepared for my application and their help with my common app essays made me a way stronger ED candidate.

It was entirely by chance that I stumbled upon Crimson Education almost three years ago. The culture in my high school in New Zealand was one in which everyone went to the local university. After discovering Crimson Education, my eyes were really opened to all of the opportunities that were actually available, both in America and around the world. After guiding me through an intensive leadership development program and SAT tutoring, I ended up getting into NYU Stern. I'm incredibly happy with this result and absolutely love the student experience at Stern (despite currently being in a bit of a time crunch for finals).I think the best result hasn't necessarily been getting into my dream school but instead, it's been the steep learning curve and personal development that I experienced while in the Crimson leadership and tutoring program.I have to say that I really don't think I would have been able to get here without Crimson and I'd absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to push themselves, discover their potential, and find a great family of mentors.

Crimson unlocked the doors to Harvard, Stanford and the Robertson Scholarship to Duke University. I was looking for full financial aid or a full scholarship to a US university, which meant targetting universities with acceptance rates of as low as 5%. Furthermore, I am from an area with very limited support for US applications - no one from my school had ever applied for university in the US. These things combined, I knew that I needed support from mentors at Crimson to be a seriously competitive applicant. This was absolutely confirmed during the application process.I came to Crimson late in the year so unfortunately didn't have an opportunity to receive career or extracurricular guidance, but I worked with two Harvard students to establish my school list, understand and edit my essays and prepare for the interviews, as well as perfecting every aspect of my Common App. It was inspirational to work with such ambitious students that were rooting for me throughout the application cycle.One example of the support was that my school reports had been released during the week of the application submission. My teacher couldn't upload my school report because the file was too big (the Common Application portal is a notoriously difficult experience) so my app consultant and I frantically found a way to add the document: I ended up printing it, scanning it, and then sending it to the teacher to upload. It was very stressful at the time because the report is a crucial element, so the support was great to have.I can't be thankful enough for Crimson helping me navigate such a life-changing journey. I have kept my relationships with the mentors I worked with, I learned an immense amount about myself during my Common App process and receive great university offers. Since working with Crimson I've never looked back.
